1. Chiang Mai

It is the largest
city in northern Thailand and the capital of Chiang Mai Province. It
is 700 km (435 mi) north of Bangkok near the highest mountains in the
country. In May 2006 Chiang Mai was
the site of the Chiang Mai Initiative, concluded between the Association
of southeast Asian Nations and the "ASEAN+3" countries, (China,
Japan and South Korea). Chiang Mai was one of three Thai cities contending for
Thailand's bid to host the World Expo 2020. Ayutthaya was ultimately
chosen by the Thai Parliament to register for the international competition.
In
early December 2017, Chiang Mai was awarded the UNESCO title of Creative City.
In 2015, Chiang Mai was on the tentative list for UNESCO World Heritage
inscription. Chiang Mai was one of two tourist destinations in Thailand on TripAdvisor's
2014 list of "25 Best Destinations in the World", where it stands at
number 24. Chiang Mai International Airport receives up to 28 flights a day
from Bangkok (flight time about 1 hour 10 minutes) and also serves as a local
hub for services to other northern cities such as Chiang Rai, Phrae,
and Mae Hong Son. International services also connect Chiang Mai with
other regional centers, including cities in other Asian countries.

It is a Malaysian state located
on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia, by the Malacca Strait. It
has two parts: Penang Island, where the capital city, George Town, is located,
and Seberang Perai (formerly Province Wellesley) on
the Malay Peninsula. The second smallest Malaysian state by land mass,
Penang is bordered by Kedah to the north and the east, and Perak to
the south. Known as the Silicon Valley of the East for
its industries, Penang is one of Malaysia's most vital economic powerhouses. Penang
has the highest Gross Domestic Product per capita among all Malaysian
states and is considered a High-Income economy. In addition, Penang
recorded the nation's second highest Human Development Index, after Kuala
Lumpur. Correspondingly, the state has a relatively well-educated
population, with a youth literacy rate of 99.5% as of 2014. Penang International Airport (PEN) is
located in Bayan Lepas at the southeast of Penang Island, 16 km
(9.9 mi) south of George Town. It serves as the main airport for northern
Malaysia, with frequent links to major regional cities such as Kuala Lumpur,
Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh, Taipei, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and
Doha. Penang International Airport is Malaysia’s Second busiest in
terms of cargo traffic and recorded the third highest passenger traffic of all
Malaysian airports as of 2013.

It is officially known as the Republic of Singapore, is a sovereign island
city-state in Southeast Asia. It lies one degree (137 kilometers or 85 miles)
north of the equator, at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, with Indonesia’s
Riau Island to the south and Peninsular Malaysia to the north.
Singapore's territory consists of one main island along with 62 other
island. Since independence, extensive land reclamation has increased its
total size by 23% (130 square kilometers or 50 square miles). The
city-state's historical district features dozens of landmarks such as Fort
Canning Hill, the National Gallery Singapore, Raffles Hotel and the Buddha
Tooth Relic Temple. There are also numerous famous attractions within the
city-state, notably Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, Sentosa Island,
Orchard Road, Jewel Changi Airport and the Singapore Zoo, which was ranked
the best zoo in Asia. The Singapore Botanic Gardens is the only
tropical garden in the world to be honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Singapore
is a major international transport hub in Asia, serving some of the
busiest sea and air trade routes. Changi Airport is an aviation
center for Southeast Asia and a stopover on the Kangaroo Route between
Sydney and London.

It is
the capital city of Siem Reap Province in Northwestern Cambodia.
It is a popular resort town and a gateway to the Angkor region. Siem Reap
has colonial and Chinese-style architecture in the Old French Quarter and
around the Old Market. In the city, there are museums, traditional Apsara dance
performances, a Cambodian cultural village, souvenir and handicraft shops, silk
farms, rice-paddies in the countryside, fishing villages and a bird
sanctuary near the Tonle Sap Lake and a vibrant, cosmopolitan
drinking and dining scene. Siem Reap
today—being a popular tourist destination—has a large number of hotels,
resorts, restaurants and businesses closely related to tourism. This is much
owed to its proximity to the Angkor temples, the most popular tourist

the capita of the People’s Republic of China, the world's 3rd
most popular city proper, and most populous capital city. The city, located
in northern China, is governed as a municipality under the direct administration
of the central government with 16 urban, suburban, and rural
districts. Beijing Municipality is surrounded by Hebei Province with
the exception of neighbouring Tianjin Municipality to the southeast;
together, the three divisions form the Jingjinji metropolitan region and
the national capital region of China. Combining
both modern and traditional architecture, Beijing is one of the oldest cities
in the world, with a rich history dating back three millennia. The Great

10. Rajasthan

The state
covers an area of 342,239 square kilometres (132,139 sq mi) or 10.4
percent of the total geographical area of India. It is the largest Indian
state by area and the 7th largest by population. Rajasthan
is located on the northwestern side of India. Major
features site at Rajasthan's only hill station, Mount Abu, in the
ancient Aravalli mountain range; and, in eastern Rajasthan, the Keoladeo
National Park near Bharatpur, a World Heritage Site known for its bird
life. Rajasthan is also home to three national tiger reserves,
the Ranthambore National Park in Sawai Madhopur, Sariska Tiger
